New Covenant Hosted US

New Covenant Presbyterian Church members and Elders were perfect hosts of the 42nd Stated Meeting on Saturday, July 25. It was a muggy and hot July day but the cool AC and the excellent refreshments and food made for a great day. Moderator RE William Johnson of Sardinia Presbyterian Church called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. TE David Frierson, Sr. led the worship service as he serves as the Moderator of the Session at New Covenant. Mr. Brock Page gave the message during the worship service. He needed to preach in requirement for his licensure exam.

Fall Stated Meeting: October 22, 2026, Thursday at Mullins Presbyterian Church.

In accordance with the General Assembly Overture for a Day of Prayer and Fasting for Revival; we will spend time on October 22, 2026 in prayer and fasting for revival and renewal in the church.

Church Reports

We are a connectional church body and we care for one another and pray for one another. Prayer was offered for Grace, Conway; Hartsville Church; Mouzon Church; Mullins Church; New Covenant, Manning; and other needs as shared by the elders.
Other prayer needs were offered during the meeting and extended time was spent before the throne of grace.

The following men were presented by the Chairman for their examinations: Ray Craig - Licensure; Brock Page - Licensure; Clay Garrison - Coming Under Care; and Renaldo Andre - TE transfer. All the men excelled in the examinations.

Rev. Renaldo Andre is undergoing his transfer examination. He comes to the Pee Dee Presbytery from the Brazilian Presbyterian Church. Rev. Andre was called to be an Assistant Pastor at Faith, Myrtle Beach. He will also begin the work of planting the new mission in Carolina Forest.
**Shepherding Committee** reported that of the 19 churches in our Presbytery, 18 sent in their Session Minutes. That shows signs of a healthy presbytery.
